Why do we procrastinate?

Questions come up about procrastination behavior.

What we postpone certainly serves us, and so we postpone what we want to do.

We always postpone what we want to do because of fear of failure, inadequacy, dislike of ourselves, our perfectionist nature, fear of rejection, and similar fears.

To explain with an example; Just like a student who is afraid of failing in the exam does not take the exam and postpones it, or a person who wants to write a book postpones the behavior of writing a book because of inadequacy and fear of failure…

Ask yourself these questions.

How does the behavior I postpone serve me?

And what happens if I do the behavior I postponed now?

As you realize the answers to the questions, you will find the reasons behind the behavior you postponed and you will start to give up the procrastination behavior.
