It is an important stage of the treatment for the family to act in accordance with these directions and to share the results obtained as a result of new behaviors with the psychologist. The role of the family’s behavior is great in order to make progress in the child.

Counseling is not a one-time meeting, it is a process. This process may take a short time or a longer period depending on the family and the child. Especially in children with distress and in diagnosed situations, the psychologist needs information, observation and evaluation process in order to give healthy feedback and create a healthy treatment program. The treatment process begins after this stage. For this reason, parents who act with the idea of ​​”let me take them once and let it be clear” when taking their children to the psychologist are likely to leave the one-time meeting unsatisfied with this expectation.
