What is Posture?

It is the harmony and proper alignment of all body parts (head, trunk, arms and legs) with each other during various activities such as standing, sitting and walking.

Our whole body alignment is provided by the loads transferred to the ground through both feet. All of our posture habits that we take during our daily life are transferred to the ground with our feet while standing and with our hips while sitting. All the loads we carry through our body throughout the day must be covered by the right body segment.

Every part of our body is interconnected. If something goes wrong somewhere, the whole body is affected. For example, let’s take a person who slouches for a long time; In this long-term wrong posture, the shoulders of the person gradually roll forward and the load on the rib cage increases, which can cause difficulty in breathing, then the abdominal muscles become shorter, the back and waist muscles on the contrary lengthen and become weak, these muscles have difficulty in carrying the load and cause low back pain. why could it be. This can affect the hips, knees and feet over time because our bodies are interconnected like a chain system.

Although the cause of a bad posture is thought to be psychological conditions (unhappiness, loneliness, fatigue), it is the weakening of the muscles that are not used or used incorrectly over time and progressing to a permanent state.

It should not be forgotten that staying fixed for a long time causes negativities in our posture. The human body is programmed to move. Being a desk worker or working standing all the time does not mean that you have to have waist, neck or back pain for life, the important thing is to add movement to your life at the right time intervals and in the right way.


Scoliosis is simply a curvature of the spine. The cause of scoliosis should be investigated well in order to establish an exercise program in scoliosis. Scoliosis is not just a formation due to muscle imbalance, weakness or tension. There is a belief that the cause of scoliosis is unknown. For a good evaluation in scoliosis, it is necessary to evaluate the cranial (head) bones, iliopsoas muscle, diaphragm, muscle imbalances and organ functions. Visual disturbances should also be questioned in scoliosis. Finding the real cause in scoliosis brings us closer to our goal. Kyphosis is a condition in which the spine curves forward. In fact, the spine is already curved forward (kyphotic) in the dorsal region and a hollow (lordotic) appearance in the lumbar region. Here, kyphosis occurs when the forward curvature of the back rises above the normal (more than 50-60 degrees) or the cupping in the waist improves (below 15 degrees) or disappears.


Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ, Mandible Joint) is a pain and dysfunction syndrome involving the masticatory muscles. The harmony between the articular surface and the disc is impaired.

The joint of the human body, which works the hardest and has the most complex structure, is the jaw joint, which has a highly developed mobility. Jaw Joint Disorders show symptoms such as tinnitus, ear, head, face and eye pain, and today it has affected a widespread segment.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorders are recurrent pain or joint dysfunction in the jaw joint and/or masticatory muscles. This problem, which can occur due to various reasons, is the main reason of the loss of harmony of the surface of the jaw joint and the disc in the joint.
