What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a traditional treatment method based on the stimulation of these points by inserting very thin needles into certain points on the skin, dating back 5000 years. It helps the organism to heal itself by balancing the energy flow of the body. Needles are usually attached for 20 minutes. The patient may feel a slight tingling or tingling while the needle is inserted. In acute cases, ten sessions, usually twice a week, may be required, and in chronic diseases, treatment may be required for months. Auricular acupuncture can be applied in cases such as depression, anxiety, weight loss and smoking cessation.
