Children cannot express their feelings or thoughts as well as we do. Many times they are not aware of their thoughts and feelings and cannot make sense of them. Children who cannot do this try to express their feelings and thoughts to their surroundings by using the play method. In addition, they discover themselves and the environment through the game. Children try to explain the situation and the process to their environment by transforming the negative emotions and situations they experience into a game. It’s a way of saying “don’t discover me, be aware of my situation”. Sometimes the games they play are very entertaining, and sometimes they may prefer to play more traumatic games.
