Brushing teeth

Bacteria that cling to the teeth form a plaque. This plaque cannot be removed with water or mouthwash because the bacteria cling to the tooth very tightly. It is definitely removed by physical contact, namely with a brush.

Place your brush at a 45° angle at the junction of the teeth and gums. Apply for about 10-15 seconds, making small circular movements. Then repeat these steps going forward one brush length. After the outer surfaces are finished, brush the inner surfaces and then the upper surfaces in the same way. Finally, brush your tongue from back to front. Remember, brushing is at least 2 minutes. must last!

Change your brush on average every 3 months. If the parallelism of the brush bristles is broken, it loses its effectiveness.
Do not use acidic beverages 30 minutes before or after brushing. Acidic drinks make the tooth surface prone to wear, you can increase the wear by brushing during this time.

floss use

Despite tooth brushing, areas that cannot be reached and cleaned at the contact points of the teeth remain. After brushing once a day, dental floss should be applied and these inaccessible areas should be cleaned. Cut the floss about 30 cm long. Wrap it around your middle finger. Keep the rope taut, keeping a distance of 2-3 cm with your thumb and forefinger. Pass this area between the teeth without irritating the gums. Move the floss up and down against the surface of the tooth, then repeat on the other side of the tooth.

It is necessary to consume the nutrients we need in terms of both general body health and oral and dental health in a sufficient and balanced way. Otherwise, there will not be sufficient development in the muscle and bone structure, the body will become prone to infections and oral health will be affected. A balanced diet containing calcium, phosphorus and fluorine should be applied, especially in children.

Carbohydrate and sugary foods can easily form bacterial plaque on the teeth and cause caries. These foods should not be consumed too much, especially between meals.
Fizzy drinks cause tooth erosion and caries due to the acids in their content. It should be consumed sparingly, and the mouth should be rinsed with water after consumption.
