Non-Invasive Prenatal Test-NIPT (Fetal DNA in Maternal Serum)
In 2012, prenatal tests were started with fetal DNA analysis obtained from maternal serum.
From the 10th week of pregnancy, it is sufficient to draw blood from the mother’s arm. No interventional procedure is required.

In cases where the mother’s age is 35 and over, and in the presence of ultrasonographic findings of Down syndrome, she does not want amniocentesis or CVS,
It can be preferred in those with Down syndrome and trisomy-18 pregnancy history and in pregnancies with a risk of more than 1/300 in screening tests.

They can be done from the 10th week of pregnancy.
It does not require an invasive procedure.

The reporting period of the test is approximately 2 weeks. There is an “express” option that can be concluded in a week.
There is an option that can detect Cri-du Chat, Di George, Turner, Angelman, Prader-Willi Syndromes, trisomy-16, trisomy-22, 1p36 deletion.
There is a test option that can show Rh incompatibility in the fetus.
