What is the Operation Process?
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and varies between 1.5 and 3 hours depending on the procedure to be performed. After the surgery, there will be a small medical pad in each nostril. In addition, a supportive and protective splint will be applied to the back of the nose. It is generally recommended that the patient stays in the hospital for one night after the surgery and is discharged the next day, and the bruises (if any) will heal within 7-10 days.
Nasal pads are removed after three days and the patient will certainly not feel the slightest discomfort during removal of these pads. The nasal splint is removed after 10 days.
How long does it take for my nose shape to settle after surgery?
Most of the edema and swelling in the nose are reduced at the end of a month, but the final shape of the nose is completed within 6 months.
