TREATMENT OF GOOD DISEASE?
The early level of gum disease is called gingivitis. Gums may be red, bleeding and swollen. This stage of gum disease can be reversible. Sometimes just a better oral care professional cleaning may be enough for the treatment.

Depending on the level of gingival disease, curettage and root surface straightening may be recommended in addition to dental cleaning by a gingival specialist. Plaque and tartar are removed from the gingival pocket using special dental instruments. Then, by smoothing the root surfaces, the gingiva is pushed and firmly adhered to the tooth. In cases where this treatment is not sufficient, performing gingival operations is also on the agenda.

Gum diseases do not heal on their own, with treatments such as mouthwash and vitamins. It must be treated by a gum specialist. Early diagnosis will protect the health of the teeth as well as the gums.
