This surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia in operating room conditions. Relaxing and anti-anxiety medications can be administered to relieve the person’s worries before the surgery. You will then be asked to wear a tennis player’s headband day and night for a week. You will then be asked to wear this headband only at night for three weeks.
