Coffee Consumption

It is impossible not to love Turkish coffee, filter, espresso, latte and many other types of coffee. So, how and how much should we consume this much loved coffee during the day? “How much do individual differences affect coffee consumption?” and “Who should not consume coffee? “Let’s answer these questions.

According to research by JAMA, (The Journal of the American Medical Association), there is data that even if you drink 8 cups of coffee, it reduces all risk of death. Of course, we are talking about coffee brewed directly from the bean. Syrup, cream, sugar and instant coffee are excluded from this topic. These factors negatively affect your health because they increase both calorie and trans fat intake. Tell me 🙂
-An adult can take 300-400 mg of caffeine with 3-4 cups of coffee a day. For pregnant and adolescent children, a maximum of 2 cups is the safe consumption amount.
Caffeine in it increases alertness and concentration, as well as reduces the risk of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
With its magnesium content, it can increase insulin sensitivity and thus reduce the risk of developing diabetes.
-It helps to fulfill the loss of water in diarrhea as it is found in high potassium.
It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
It stimulates and increases the muscle and nerve secretion of the stomach. In this case, an increase in metabolic rate and an increase in fat burning are observed. (do not use oil solution)

When consumed in excess, it can cause irritability, tension and sleep disorder in the person.
It should not be consumed immediately after a meal, as it reduces the absorption of vitamins and minerals.
Since it has a diuretic effect, water consumption should be increased so that fluid loss does not occur.
It causes sudden increases in blood pressure. It increases cardiac arrhythmia in some sensitive individuals. Irregular heartbeats can cause heart palpitations or tachycardia.
Since it has an effect on the ovulation cycle in women, excessive consumption can reduce fertility.
It can lead to bone loss as it increases calcium excretion from the kidneys. For this reason, it is recommended that individuals who consume more should increase milk group foods.
Then everyone’s coffee from me (maybe decaf depending on the situation because why not) 🙂
