Cervical sores (cervical erosion)

Vaginal infections and discharge are among the problems that women can experience frequently and negatively affect their daily and social lives.
The cause of vaginal discharge can sometimes be accompanied by a simple cold, discharge as a result of cold, groin pain, as well as in the form of vaginal infections due to resistant microorganisms that can be caught from toilets or pools, or in the form of a wide spectrum that can cause resistant sexually transmitted diseases from simple sexually transmitted infections.
Even after antibiotics used in the treatment of upper tract infections and dental diseases, vaginal yeast infections occur in some sensitive women due to the deterioration of the vaginal flora. Diabetes should be investigated in frequently recurring vaginal yeast infections.
Untreated vaginal infections become chronic, causing chronic pelvic infection both in the cervix and in the uterus, tubes and ovaries; They can cause conditions with persistent groin and abdominal pain.
One of the most common findings is cervical erosion, which is called cervical erosion, as a result of the infection destroying the cervix. Cervical sores or wound-like findings in the cervix are examined in a wide area, from mild redness in the cervix to a large wound, sometimes to cervical diseases (ASCUS, CIN 1-2-3, cervical cancer) where different results can be obtained with biopsy.
When cervical sores are detected, a smear should be taken to screen for a pathology or disease. If there is accompanying vaginal discharge, the presence of microorganisms is revealed with vaginal cultures. First of all, to treat the vaginal infection medically, then in cases such as persistent cervical erosion (wound), increased vascularity, if there is pathology in the smear, after observation with colposcopy, biopsy is taken from the cervix, if there is no pathology, direct cervical cauterization (wound burning), cryotherapy (wound) Freezing), any of the cervical laser procedures should be treated by removing the wound area and the damaged cells there.
Although the process of burning or freezing the cervix may sound scary as a word, the procedure is short, usually completely painless, and daily life can be continued from where it was left off. Particularly, women who have not given birth have hesitations to intervene in cervical wounds very often. However, as in the studies and experience gained, the probability of getting pregnant increases as the passage of sperm will be easier after vaginal infections, discharges, cervix wounds and infections are treated.
Intravaginal ozone therapy is also used in chronic vaginal infections, chronic cervicitis (cervical infections), chronic pelvic infections and pain, and local ozone therapy is also beneficial and applied in our clinic, especially in skin infections and skin diseases in the vulva (external genitalia).
If the procedures that can and should be done in cervical wounds are summarized, they are gynecological examination, smear, vaginal cultures, observation with colposcopy, biopsy and cervical cauterization (wound burning).
…..Even if you have no complaints, do not neglect to have a smear taken once a year…..
